A lens turret with 3 lenses, low weight, slim design and a handle make the DotScope eco a measuring instrument that can be used quickly. The DotScope eco has proven its efficiency. It can be found in customers’ production lines all over the world and is used for quality assurance. It is operated using the DotScope software. The DotScope eco can also be used to easily generate 3D views and measurements of microscopically small structures.
It is easy to use: Position the device at the desired location, focus the image and then click on the measurement button. The microscope adjusts the lighting, takes images of different focal planes and the connected PC uses them to create a 3D model. The surface is automatically detected and the 3D model is aligned to this surface. The screen is also determined in parallel. A typical measurement takes only 15…20 seconds in total. The rapid image acquisition reduces the influence of external vibrations on the measurement result.
Corrugated printers in particular are faced with the task of being able to measure anilox rollers when they are installed. The magnetic base enables the DotScope eco to be used on rollers with steel cores that are difficult to access. Thanks to the magnetic base, the DotScope eco can be securely attached to the anilox roller without slipping or moving. Measurements with an inclination angle of up to 90 degrees are possible.
